Because that clearly is not the case- SW computer system is not a color match for BM simply white or white dove ! I'm so glad I looked before he painted. The painter said to have SW try to color match from the cabinet doors itself instead with the BM simply white painted on them, and not from what SW says about having the color match in the system already. The only way the samples come in ) The color match was not good on the simply white or the white dove that SW tried to match. (The samples are basically satin from BM / eggshell From SW. My painter Painted on the cabinet doors that have been primed. TO SIMPliFY EVERYTHING :SW said they have Simply white in the computer to color match BM simply white.
Painter is ready to start ASAP Please help. Our home is a coastal setting Shaker cabinets with a lot of windows. I have not come across any on Houzz with a SW white cabinet with Revere Pewter combination. Another question ? Does anyone know of a SW paint color of white that would look good with Revere Pewter ? I have looked at all the SW whites. It is just the oilbase my painter is nervous of using. Has anyone color matched this ? I'm wanting the BM simply white on cabinets with the Revere Pewter (flat ) on my walls. He is not use to the consistency of BM But has used SW for many years. I want to use BM simply white, but the painter has not used BM oil base on spraying kitchen cabinets before and is a little nervous doing so. My painter primed the cabinets and then painted the BM on one of them the other SW It is so different. Is it possible to match BM simply white to SW paint ? I purchased samples of both and it has not been a good match.
