There is also provision in ACDSee Ultimate 2022 to export (and import) Presets to a file. The way I handle that is to keep a written step by step record of each custom action I record. Changes introduced in individual tools has at times necessitated making changes to some custom Actions, which generally means the Action has to be re-recorded from scratch.
Note that being able to import the file from the previous version does NOT guarantee that any particular action will work in the new version the way it did in the old version. I can't recall whether U2022 automatically copied the V10 file from the older U2021 version during installation, or whether I imported it. The imported file is stored at C:\Users\YourName\Appdata\Local\ACD Systems\Actions\150Ult\V10. There is provision within ACDSee 2022 to export Actions to a file (and also to import from that file). As the functionality changes, there may be some changes to some of these settings in a new version, but having the screen shots makes a run through those setting relatively quick.
